This has been bought up to our attention by a customer. 
You are automatically referred to the homepage when you put an item into the cart and click on continue shopping.  It was annoying for this customer to go back into the navigation tree structure back to the category she already was at to add more items.  I know the back button would have been faster, but it wasn't clear to the customer.  I would find it more appropriate to have a button saying going back to last product and one going back to last category.  This is more helpful when you have lots of categories and products.  Has anyone implemented anything like that?  Even just switching the continue shopping button to automatically going back to the last category would be more useful then going back to the home page.
