We still have google checkout active on our two sites, however, hardly any of our customers choose to use it over Paypal (maybe 2-3 percent of our total transactions).</DIV>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.productcart.com/member_profile.asp?PF=550">Confetti</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1982<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 17-September-2008 at 2:09pm<br /><br />I have been having problems recently, and just wonder if others are experiencing the same.<br>I have contacted PC Tech support and they put the blame on google, which could very well be the case.&nbsp; Anyway...<br><br>Google Check-Out is timing out when obtaining the shipping data and tax calculations, and thus displaying (and charging) the default shipping amounts I have set up within PC.<br><br>Besides the fact that actual shipping cost to me vs. the "one fit all" default amount is substantially wrong, BUT Google Check-out does not allow to increase the authorization amount of the order.&nbsp; Thus I must contact the customer for there CC# or send a google invoice for the difference (or eat the difference).&nbsp; Painful, and time consuming.<br><br>PC Tech support says Google allows only a 3 sec window to obtain the shipping and tax amounts.&nbsp; If there is a lag, the default is grabbed.<br><br>I use offer Fedex and USPS - 9 options total (1day, 2 day, etc) - Not alot of options in my opinion.&nbsp; Also use Jolt Digital (Florida)<br><br>Also use Auth net (PC Checkout) and Paypal express and HAVE NO PROBLEMS.<br><br>Anyone experiencing these time-out problems?<br>]]>
