I am currently using ProductCart v3.051b and will be upgrading to 3.11b soon.
 
Is there a solution for a more complex discounts offer?
 
Buy this ____ get ____ at some discount

            Ex. Buy from a subcategory of books and get a CD from the another subcategory $2 off

                  Buy a book from within a subcategories and get a free specific Gift


I know that standard discounts work as such but effect the whole cart:
  • Buy a specific product and receive ($, % off, free ship) from the entire order
  • Buy any product from category receive ($, % off, free ship) from the entire order
  • Specify what customers can receive discount
Is there anything for setting rules that effects only if you purchase a certain product to receive a discount for a specific product or products in a category?  I know you can set up a group for cross selling on a product but what about a discount for a category of products
