I have implemented a coupon system that works off of a querystring. My client wanted to be able to offer coupons for Pay-Per-Click advertising only. the coupon gets automatically added at checkout only if a certain querystring parameter was present. I would like to see that certain coupons can only be used through an affiliate link.  We have an affiliate that will promote our store and already gets a commission on it.  The idea is that this affiliate will promote special coupons, only available from him, that gives the customer additional discounts.  We want to make sure that nobody else can use/pass on this coupon without coming over this particular affiliate link.

While talking about it.  At checkout is the option of selection how someone has heard about the site.  It would be nice to have the capability of selecting affiliates there and automatically apply the referral, if the customer did not come of the affiliate link.  This will help with an affiliate that will put our products onto his German satellite tv programming.  The customer basically wants to give our url, but still likes to get the commission without trying to convery a very long affiliate url over the air.
