I'm running a local server so that's not the issue. To make CSS and layout changes, so far I've done a lot of align="right" for price columns, I've found it useful to bring the page up in DW and look at the change in the design view. I've been able to do this with every page, except viewcategories.asp.

Some of the other pages that work fine have equal amounts of include files in the midst of table layouts that change layouts according to selections made in the control panel, best sellers, home, etc and they view fine.

EI's use of tables in layouts is MUCH, MUCH improved over 2.76, I think it was View Cart with BTO that was the most horrible, so this isn't a big issue. Some of productcarts display options in the asp files won'e show locally because they need the asp components (unless of course oyu are running a local server). Also in the viewprd.asp pages calls are made to other asp files for the chosen layout (selectable in the control panel)
 
Do you have a sample we could see?

I was trying to look at this page in DW while making some CSS changes. The design view appears to choke when loading the content. I don't see that problem with viewPrd.asp.

DW is highlighting the td & tr in rows 669 and 670 and again in 850 & 851. I was wondering if a quick fix would be to make the content include files use their own tables. I can see that pcShowProductM.asp doesn't have a table, same for pcShowProductL.asp. pcShowProductP.asp does use a table and so does pcShowProductH.asp.

I don't want to ruin the display just to get DW's design view to work but wondered if the fix could be as easy as adding <table> to the include files?
