OK, guess my expectations were off. I think PC used to display a visual flag next to all the fields that were incorrect. Hi,  When you click on OK you are taken to the field in question - hence "value for this field" :-)

ManageHomePage.asp. I made some entries and clicked "Update Settings" then I received the message "Please enter a value for this field!", but there was no indication about what field it was referring to. After some playing around, I discovered that if there wasn't an entry in the fields under "Number of items to show" then that error was displayed.
