Just in case anyone else suffers this.
It turns out the end client had turned off all the "components" that make up the centre of the home page - of course without saying anything.
The change to header / footer was just an unlucky co-incidence.

I was working on the website through Dreamweaver and the Control Panel, and somewhere along the line I messed something up.  My storefront is blank....however the rest of the store works fine (Categories, etc).  It's just now when I go to home.asp, the static web page appears, but there is no storefront in the middle.....its just empty.


What is wrong! please help
