I would like to see a separate page that automatically shows the latest approved reviews with a link to the associated product.  The store owner can choose to add this page to their own site navigation with a title such as  "Latest Customer Reviews", "Testimonials" etc.

My reasoning is as follows :

When a site has hundreds or thousands of products the reviews that have been posted may be scattered very thinly.  I think customers like to see quickly what other customers have been saying recently about a stores service etc even if it isnt directly related to the products that they are interested in.  If they know that other customers have been reviewing products recently then they also know that the shop is alive and kicking and is not a dormant store that has been neglected over time.

 

Taking it a stage further it may be possible to also have the option of displaying the very latest reviews on the home page like we currently can with Specials and Featured products.

And just to add a bit of praise....

I feel the reviews functionality is very comprehensive in ProductCart and I particularly like the way customer reviews are integrated on to the same page as the product details.  Many other shopping carts I have seen have a link to another page for product reviews which it makes it look like the reviews functionality is a bolt on module (which in many cases it probably is).
