Sue,
  Product Cart has extensive reporting facilities, so there is almost certainly a report that meets the customers needs. Creating custom reports is relatively simple as well.
In addition it's possible to interface with it using XML, so you should be able  to get at the required information in several ways.

Hello,
 
I'm evaluating Shopping Cart software for a client and they have the requirement to be able to add custom fields for a product which ProductCart will do, however additionally they have a need to easily* produce a report/list for a given product the data collected by the custom field.  For instance:
 
Product: Seminar A
Customer            Day Attending (Option Field)    Attendee Name (Custom Field)
Brown, Joe          Saturday                                  Brown, Jean
 
* The client wants to host the cart, which means I probably won't have direct access to the database to run SQL to gather the data and then format a report.  I would like them to be able to support themselves as they typically would run this report several times right up until one hour before the seminar event.
