Do packing slips print all of the products originally ordered even though some of the order is backordered? I had this situation earlier today. I do not want to include a packing slip that states that an item is packed into the shipment when it actually is not. Also, is there a way to set up email notification for items that are back ordered so that the customer may be advised when the item will ship. I currently have the "disregard stock" box checked while allowing items to be back ordered. I ran a sample order on an item that is not in stock, and could not find any place where the customer is notified of this.
