If anyone is interested, you can create a separate shipping method with surcharge added to it. Then when the the choice of shipments is being displayed you parse for the surcharge shipment type and then only display that one to the subset of customers that are attracting the surcharge.<br><br><br>]]>

So what I was thinking was a different shipping rate for these customers and priced accordingly. <br><br>But my dilema is being able to automatically select the correct shipping method on the shipping choice page, and perhaps even hiding the "default"/cheaper method shown to all others.<br><br>Does anyone have any thoughts on this.<br>]]>

I have some ideas but before I start to evaluate them I was just wondering if anyone else deals with this or similar.<br><br>regards<br>]]>
