This is just a suggestion. When I am looking for help with software, I first look for the independent programmers who contribute actively to the forums for the product.  NetProfits http://www.nicwebdesign.com is only second to Early Impact for the number of posts on this forum. It is always very helpful and they frequently post code to assist store owners (ie: free help that could/should be charged for). They obviously have a serious interest in the guts of the software and know it very well.
